Anti-key cloning
The ghost immobiliser is designed to combat key cloning and hacking. This device is connected to your vehicle's CAN data network and creates a unique pin code using the factory buttons in your dashboard and steering. This prevents the thief from being able to start your vehicle. If the incorrect PIN is entered it will stop your engine from starting which makes it impossible to drive off with your joy and pride.

OBD port hacking
OBD port hacking has become the most recent method employed by professional car thieves. Thieves are able to access your vehicle's OBD port with no more than a laptop, an application and a few cables, which can be bought online for less than PS50. You will also need a cable with OBD pins, which are connected to the CAN bus. These cables are available on eBay and Amazon for around P50. You'll also require an OBD cable that has OBD pins that are connected to the CAN bus, these can be found on Amazon/Ebay for around PS50. The cable has to be connected to the wiring harness of your car, such as the radio wiring harness.
Once the hacker gains access to the OBD port on your vehicle, they can send diagnostics to the system with high baud rate that will cause a crash of the car's CAN, and prevent the system from functioning. This could cause the engine to stop and doors to lock, or even the brakes to activate.
